Recently renovated, in 2013, Sunnubiela is a stunning and luxurious chalet. The owners use of light, glass and natural products has resulted in a beautiful residence with magnificent views, that still retains a warm and cosy feel. It is situated in an elevated position in a wooded area of Zermatt, accessed by a private telecabin or a well maintained path. Although in tranquil surroundings the chalet is only a five minute walk from the centre of Zermatt and from the Matterhorn cable car station. It is the perfect place to relax, in complete privacy, whilst still being close to all the local amenities.
The luxury 4 floor chalet comprises 6 bedrooms and sleeps 9. There are 3 doubles with washbasin, and 3 single bedrooms. There are 2 bathrooms (shower/WC) and a wellness area that can be used as a third bathroom. Boasting an infra-red sauna, double Jacuzzi-bath and a separate shower, the wellness area is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day in the mountains.
There is a modern open-plan kitchen and dining area. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, coffee machine, raclette and fondue etc. The large dining table comfortably seats 10 people.
The lounge area has an enclosed wood burning fireplace and ample comfortable seating where guests can unwind and enjoy the magnificent Matterhorn views. The chalet is equipped with a plasma television with multi lingual channels (including BBC and ITV), a DVD player, CD/Radio/iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi internet connection. The lounge is overlooked by a mezzanine with a seating area that shares the same views as the lounge. Sunnubiela is south facing and the huge windows allow natural light to flood in as well as offering captivating views.
